I have recently become ordained. This, to me, was acting in faith of being led by the Creator *GOD*. To me, it bears the responsibility of many things, which I must adhere to, and grow into. I have much to learn, study, and understand before I take the next step, though surely, I believe that I am being led to where I was intended to be...
I will be performing weddings as I can, and might offer other services, though some of the services are a bit painful for me to perform, such as Last Rites and so forth. I do have some experience in this field, still, it is something I yet have to come to terms with emotionally....
To me, becoming ordained means responsibility to share the Word, to live in the Word, and to become as wholesome as I can be, that I am a living, breathing, example for those around me. I realize that anyone can become ordained, but, for me it is special, carrying with it future facets which will find me one day becoming a minister or pastor, for sure. I have felt this calling for years, but because of my lifestyle and so forth, did not feel worthy of the calling. Now I understand that this is all in Divine order and purpose, and that I truly, might have something to offer along the way. It is a wonderful feeling to accept your calling, whatever that might be!
Life brings us to where we are intended to be, at any given moment, as is evidenced by some of our strangest occurrences in life. Often, in order to understand purpose, we are led by way of hardship, suffering, and devastation; this builds character, strengthens our convictions, teaches us, humbles us, and finally, leaves us with understanding. Understanding that all in life has purpose is a humbling experience, for it shows us that while we have choices in reaction, perception, and action, we are still under the premise of purpose. For instance, many millionaires these days are becoming bankrupt. Is this a sign of the economical times? Surely that has something to do with it, however, if that were the case, most millionaires would suffer the same effect of the economy. No, I believe that they are under the direction of purpose, that they are being humbled, that they are learning lessons imperative to leading them to the next step of their fulfilling their purpose in this journey of life. I know a couple of these people, and truly, I can sense and see Divinity working in them as is evidenced in their attitudes during this process...
Purpose, to everything under the Sun, there is purpose. At this given second in time, we are purposefully fulfilling our purpose, and in that fulfillment, we are gaining, even if it seems we are losing, we are gaining. Gaining insight, strength, character, humility, perseverance, fortitude, understanding, compassion, righteousness, and many more traits which will lead us to the next level of our destined purpose. It is wonderfully complex, and it is exhilarating when understood...
